Deep down the ocean of her silence,
I refused to get drown!
Darkness hovering above the sea,
But somewhere in the emptiness of my heart,
A shimmer of light roams!
I was like the morning,
I came not with a heavy rainfall,
But with a soft dew!
I was nothing but a bird singing a beautiful ode of a new day,
I came with a gentle breeze and a faint sun!
But like truth my light was suppressed!
Even though it burns not,
I was like the widow that was shown no love by the king,
And was blessed not by the church.
Still in the winter I remained warm!
I was caught by the innocence of her crime!
I loved her cause to me she remained a child!
Still finding her way around in this evil world.
A toddler in all ways,
So I stood forever by her!
Ah, a modern version of “stand by your man/woman”.
I enjoyed this.
